Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (San Diego, CA)

Amberfield Ivory Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around San Diego, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for work orders in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
