Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Salt Lake City, UT)

Bright Ember Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Salt Lake City. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for capital projects in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
