Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Ashton Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Salt Lake City, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for claims in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
