Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Vista Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Richmond area. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for water quality in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
