Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Ironwood Cedar Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Detroit, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of about 455 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for sanitation schedules in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
