Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Fernwood Beacon Manufacturing makes precision components in Jacksonville, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for production lines in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
