Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Cedar West Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
