Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Ironwood Bridge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 123 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
