Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Fernwood Ember Housing is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for lease compliance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 225 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for lease compliance in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with lease compliance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
