Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Bluepeak Kestrel Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around San Jose. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
