Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Lumen Granite Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Hartford and nearby communities. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of about 503 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for pipe repairs in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
