Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Summit Meridian Foods Group is a Columbus food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for sanitation schedules in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
