Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Fernwood Wren Freight Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
