Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Summit Oak Energy is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for hardship programmes in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
