Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Amberfield Birch Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Albuquerque, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 84 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
