Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Silverline Mill Freight Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
