Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Fernwood Orchard Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Spokane, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 179 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for service connections in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
