Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Westbrook Fern Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Toledo, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. We reward reliability. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
