Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Greenridge Linden Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Chicago region, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for harvest schedules in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
