Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (remote)

Fernwood Juniper Foods is a Columbus food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for sanitation schedules in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
