Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Raleigh, NC)

Silverline Timber Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Raleigh, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for maintenance stores in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance stores. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
