Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Raleigh, NC)

Bluepeak Mill Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Raleigh. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
