Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Water Authority and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of about 701 people based in Providence. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for treatment plant data in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
