Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Lakeside Foods produces packaged foods at its Providence plant, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for production batches in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
