Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Oakland, CA)

Nova Sparrow Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for claims in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
