Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Quarry Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Oakland, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
