Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Nova Ivory Energy and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for hardship programmes in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
