Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (New Orleans, LA)

Westbrook Glen Freight is a New Orleans logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 124 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for customer tracking in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
