Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (New Orleans, LA)

Highbridge Iron Property Management is a New Orleans property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for unit turnovers in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with unit turnovers. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
