Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (New Orleans, LA)

Bright Meadow Water Authority Associates operates treatment plants and pipelines around New Orleans. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for billing accounts in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
