Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (New Orleans, LA)

Bluepeak Harbor Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in New Orleans with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of about 893 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
