Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Nashville, TN)

Summit Meridian Freight is a Nashville logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 144 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for loads and lanes in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
