Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Beacon Press and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for press runs in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
