Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Houston, TX)

Ironwood Meridian Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Houston, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for work orders in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
