Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Hartford, CT)

Summit Ashton Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Hartford with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for service complaints in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
