Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Hartford, CT)

Bright Harbor Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Hartford. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for recycling loads in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
