Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Junction Housing and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for resident services in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with resident services. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
