Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Hollow Environmental Services and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for fleet maintenance in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
