Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Cobalt Auto Group and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of about 888 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for customer estimates in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
