Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Detroit, MI)

Redstone Ivory Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
