Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Vista Housing and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for maintenance stores in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
