Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Chicago, IL)

Foxglove Mill Environmental Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for weigh tickets in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
