Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Chicago, IL)

Rivermark Ivory Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 895 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
