Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Charlotte, NC)

Cedar Kestrel Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Charlotte. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on equipment repair. You would join a small organisation of about 76 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for lease compliance in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with lease compliance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
