Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Charlotte, NC)

Harborlight Junction Housing is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on equipment repair for repair requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for repair requests in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
