Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Field Water Authority and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be equipment repair. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for capital projects in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
