Maintenance Technician - equipment repair (Birmingham, AL)

Rivermark Granite Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Birmingham area, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our equipment repair. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
