Maintenance Technician - building systems (St. Louis, MO)

Westbrook Junction Water Authority is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
