Maintenance Technician - building systems (Savannah, GA)

Rivermark Beacon Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Savannah area, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
