Maintenance Technician - building systems (Savannah, GA)

Fernwood Linden Foods produces packaged foods at its Savannah plant. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on building systems. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for ingredient orders in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
